Reading Resident Honored by the Jimmy Fund

Gabriella Graceffa-Bunker, of Reading, helped organize the Whole Foods Market 4th Annual Charitable Golf Classic at Andover Country Club.

BOSTON - More than 150 volunteer run tournaments were recognized by the Jimmy Fund on Feb. 16, at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Yawkey Center for Cancer Care, for their commitment to the Jimmy Fund Golf Program.  By organizing golf tournaments, they helped raise nearly $6.5 million in 2011 for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through Jimmy Fund Golf, one of the nation’s oldest and largest charity golf programs.

Shown being recognized for her outstanding efforts is Gabriella Graceffa-Bunker (left) of Reading, Mass., with Jimmy Fund Director, Suzanne Fountain (right). Graceffa-Bunker helped organize the Whole Foods Market 4th Annual Charitable Golf Classic at Andover Country Club in Andover, Mass. The tournament was recognized for celebrating its first year with Jimmy Fund Golf.
