Books, Ballet and Dickens Fair Set for This Week in Reading

Here are three events scheduled for the week in Reading.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Book Swap: Reading Public Library hosts a teen book swap on Tuesday at 4 p.m. During the event, teens can bring in books they own and swap them out for something new. In addition, participants can also enjoy a hot chocolate bar and munch on a few holiday treats.

Reading Ballet: A total of 23 residents will participate in a performance of The Nutcracker, presented by the Northeast Youth Ballet on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. The event will take place at J. Everett Collins Center for the Performing Arts in Andover.

Dickens Fair: The Reading Memorial High School Drama Club presents the Dickens Holiday Marketplace and Craft Fair on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the school's Performing Arts Center. The event includes shopping, food, and entertainment for all ages.
