Craft Fair and Football Home Opener Ahead

Here are three events happening in the upcoming week.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Pub to the Hub: House Minority Leader Brad Jones hosts a social event on Monday at 6 p.m. inside Grumpy Doyle's Pub. The "From the Pub to the Hub" event serves as a fundraiser for the politician and tickets are available for $35 per person or $50 per couple.

Football Opener: Friday night marks the first time the Reading High School football team will be at home, and the only time until October 25 they'll be on their home turf. Kick off comes at 7 p.m. Friday night against Arlington for the Rockets, who snuck out of Dracut with a 22-21 win in their season opener.

Craft and Gift Festival: Austin Preparatory School will feature more than 70 vendors during its Friends of Austin Craft & Gift Festival. The event takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. inside the school's gym at 101 Willow Street.
