Holiday Lunch, Blood Drive and Chorus Concert This Week in Reading

Here are three events scheduled for the week in Reading.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Holiday Lunch: The Pleasant Street Center is hosting a holiday lunch on Tuesday at 12 p.m. Lunch will be an almond divine chicken or seafood salad sandwich and there will be entertainment from Carrtunes. Suggested donation for lunch is $2, and reservations can be made by calling (781) 942-6794.

Blood Drive: The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m. and lasting until 7 p.m., located at 110 Haven Street. All donors will enter a raffle for five Dunkin Donuts gift cards. Walk-ins are welcome, and residents can visit www.redcrossblood.org for more.

Chorus Concert: Coolidge and Parker Middle School's hand chime choir and select chorus are performing on Thursday at the Pleasant Street Center beginning at 12:45 p.m. There will also be lunch at the event, either meatloaf of a fruit plate.
