Reading Writers Invited to Library Event

Here are three events scheduled for the week in Reading.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Art of Memoir: Reading Public Library hosts The Art of Memoir on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. as residents can come to learn how to tell their story. The course, which is two parts and will conclude on October 22, is led by Professor Emeritus of English Nancy Genevieve Perkins Kohl.

Various Meetings: Several boards are in action over the upcoming week in Reading. Among them are the Trails Committee and Board of Assessors on Tuesday, the Finance Committee on Wednesday and the Board of Health on Thursday.

Rockets on the Gridiron: The Reading High School football team has won two straight games since suffering a loss to first place Arlington. The Rockets will attempt to make it three in a row on Friday night. The locals travel to Belmont in their final scheduled road game with kick off coming at 6 p.m.
