Trick or Treat: Halloween Highlights the Week Ahead

Here are three events scheduled for the week in Reading.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Antiques Appraisal: Guest appraiser Michael C. Bider III will be at Camp to Castle Consignment at 122 Main Street on Monday at 10 a.m. as residents are encouraged to bring up to three items for a free appraisal. For more information, call (781) 872-1665.

Zumba for a Cause: Reading Athletic Club holds a Zumba Party that will help raise money to fight cancer. The event kicks off on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Happy Halloween: Thursday marks the big day for costume and candy. Halloween arrives and children all over the town and region will be going door to door looking for sweet treats. It could also be an exciting Halloween for another reason. If the Red Sox World Series versus the St. Louis Cardinals goes the distance, Game 7 would be on Thursday night at Fenway Park.
