RMHS Event Set to Shock Residents

Here's a look at some exciting events happening in the coming days in Reading and beyond.

The weekend is here and there are plenty of things to do in Reading and the surrounding area in the upcoming days.

Halloween Open House: Pediatric Dental Associates, Reading, hosts a Halloween open house on Saturday at 1 p.m. The event, located at 20 Pond Meadow Drive, invites residents to Trick or Treat, take part in a best costume contest, and participate in raffles. The open house is open to the public and free of charge.

Comic Book Sale: Reading comic book store Comically Speaking is holding a large sale on Saturday and Sunday with everything in the store half-off. The business is located at 575 Main Street.

Shocktoberfest: The Reading Memorial High School Drama Club hosts Shocktoberfest on Saturday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. inside the William E. Endslow Performing Arts Center. Tickets cost $5 at the door, and residents are warned that the scary event may not be suitable for young children.

Woburn Halloween Parade: For the 59th straight year, the Woburn Lions Club is hosting its Halloween Parade. The parade begins near the intersection of Route 38 and I-95 near Woburn Cinema at 1 p.m. sharp. The event is scheduled to draw about 80,000 people as it travels 2.2 miles towards the Woburn/Winchester line.
