My family loves this place! They make the best home made ice cream cookie we have ever had in our lives. Worth it - they are very clean and such a nice spot to bring the family.

Dandi-Lyons is a small ice cream stand located on the northern end of Route 28 in Reading. The menu is simple: soft serve, hard ice cream and frozen yogurt. The ice cream selection is a mix of classics such as vanilla and chocolate chip and more kooky flavors such as Almond Joy, Chocolate Overload, Crunch-a-Saurus, and Strawberry Cheese Cake. Sundaes, root beer floats and frappes are also available.
There are six picnic tables. Groups are welcome.
Dandi-Lyons sells flowers over the summer and Christmas trees during the holidays.

My favorite season for Dandi-Lyons is in the summer, when I can go on a warm night with friends to get a nice, cold treat for not too steep a price. I love the ice cream options - I can stick with my usual peppermint stick or switch it up whenever.
