This restaurant was nice until they joined the Groupon program. They raised all their prices so that the Groupon is really null and void. I will go there to redeem my last 2 coupons but I don't recommend going without one. The food is good but neither the food or the atmosphere are worth the elevated cost. I agree with the previous reviewer that the owner should stay in the back. He wasn't rude to us but he's too loud for such a small place.

The food was very good and the waitresses were very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the owner has to be one of the biggest jerks I have ever encountered. We had a reservation for 5, but we had an issue and were going to be a little late. We called at 5:04 to say we were 10 minutes away - would that be a problem or should we come another time. The owner said "no problem". Once we arrived, we were taken to a table but the owner came over and wanted to move us. No problem, but he stood there in this tiny restaurant and loudly complained about us being late to the waitress. I let him vent a little and was going to just ignore it, but he kept going. Once we moved to our next table he continued bitching about us right in front of us! I finally asked if there was a problem and he loudly chastised me for being late and creating an issue now for his later reservations. I told him we called but he ignored me. I finally pulled out my phone and showed him the call in my "recent calls" list. He continued bitching about it in front of all the other tables (as I said, it's a small place). I should have just left but figured I'd use the Groupon we bought before it expired. I told him to get away from me or I'd just leave. He backed away. I've since noticed similar writeups like this on other review sites. Too bad because it is a nice little place with good food. He should either find a new line of work or stay in the back and not deal with people.

Groupon or not, we love the restaurant. The food and service is
exceptional. Yes - cost is a little high but you can expect QUALITY!
The owner may be a little too enthusiastic but we chalk that up to
being "Latin".
Having made frequent visits, we give Pavarotti 4 stars.
