Sandra Lane is like a home away from home. The classrooms are so warm and inviting and the teachers feel like family members. The cleanliness and organization of the school is exceptional and the communication between the parents and teachers far exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly fortunate to have a Nursery School like Sandra Lane in our community.

Sandra Lane is a wonderful school that I highly recommend. 2 of my children have attended, 1 is currently enrolled, and my youngest will attend next year. They have all had positive experiences. The teachers are warm and nurturing and I love the small school, home-based setting. It is a wonderful place and it just seems to attract wonderful families. I cannot say enough about the care and thought that goes into each day there. You will be very pleased with your choice, I know I am!

I can't recommend Sandra Lane highly enough. My son loves going to school here and we have both made friends! The teachers are caring and take the time to guide the children and make a real connection with them. The kids have plenty of time for play and fun and go outside year round, weather permitting. There is excellent communication with the teachers and they genuinely want to know what is happening with your child so they can help them have the best experience. I love this school and my son does too.

One of the many, many things I love about Sandra Lane Nursery School is that I can participate as much as I'd like. The school policy on parent participation allows for parents to be in the classroom as much or as little as they wish. Because I am able to, I enjoy going in to my son's class to read a story or do a craft about once a month. It's so fun seeing him at school and interacting with him and his friends!

Sandra Lane is a hidden gem, providing a refreshingly good balance of nurturing critical-age developmental skills in a positive, supportive environment while engaging kids with fun, often nature-themed, activities designed to help them reach their full age-appropriate potential. My child loves his school and is always eager to tell me what he did each day. I visited most of the local preschools in the area, including 3 Montessori schools before deciding on Sandra Lane, and going into our second year, I am satisfied that we made a good decision. Since I am an engaged parent, open, informative parent-director communication was another appreciated feature of this school, something some of the others seemed to lack. Everything is administered with thought for the well-being of the children. The school is a part-time only program at the time of this writing--two 2.5 hour days the first year and three 2.5 hour days the pre-K year.

Sandra Lane is the greatest nursery school! As a life long resident of Reading, I attended Sandra Lane, along with my 4 brothers, and had such fond memories of my experience there, that I couldn't wait to send my own children! Both my sons currently attend and they absolutely love it. They instantly felt comfortable in the classrooms and love their teachers. I can't tell you what a great feeling it is as a parent to drop your kids off at school when they are still very young and know that they are 100% happy and eager and ready to learn and play with their friends. They come home every day excited about their day and can't wait to go again! I couldn't ask for anything better than that! I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

Sandra Lane is an excellent nursery school!! My oldest son attended the school for 2 years and had a wonderful experience. The school is warm and gives a home like feeling. The teachers are dedicated and experienced to helping each child grow in every way. Our twins are now attending the school and enjoying every minute. The director and teachers provide the perfect amount of support and activities to the children to give them the best preschool experience they can possibly have!

I can not say enough great things about this school! We came to Sandra Lane half way through the school year last after having a less than desirable experience at another preschool. Sandra Lane is amazing and I credit the director for "rescuing" my son and turning around his first preschool experience. The level of patience I saw the teachers exhibit with my son while he adjusted to a new school far exceeded my expectations. My son was in the afternoon program last year and is in the morning program this year so we have gotten to know 3 of the teachers and the director pretty well. All of the staff members are wonderful: warm, loving, patient and consistent. Upon arrival each school day, my son is made to feel like everyone has been waiting for him to arrive and now that he is there the day can begin! (I'm pretty sure the teachers try to make each child feel like this!!) In addition to the fabulous staff, the school is very clean. The children are given a hand wipe when they first arrive every day to clean their hands, which is especially nice during cold season, and I know the teachers help the children wash their hands throughout the day in addition to washing the tables/toys regularly. Lastly, I love that the director is health conscious and points the focus of birthdays and other parties in directions other than on sugary treats. I look forward to many more years as a Sandra Lane Family.

My family loves Sandra Lane. My oldest daughter went there for 2 years and my 2nd daughter is in her first year there now. My kids absolutely love this school. The school is cozy which makes it feel like home and the warmth of the teachers make this school our #1 choice!

Sandra Lane Nursery School is the best! My daughter is in her 2nd year there and my older son went for 2 years as well. The teachers are very caring, approachable and most importantly they are fantastic with the kids!
