This the best little spot for breakfast!! Sandie & tony do a great job. The smoked brisket hash is to die for. Where else can you go and find 14 different flavor pancakes. Everyone one is so friendly when you go in. I love the Centre Cafe the food is great and the service is great. We highly recommend the Centre as BEST PLACE FOR BREAKFAST!!!

The Centre Cafe best Breakfast Around .....Fast & Friendly Service ....Better be Hungry when you come here for breakfast .... There is plenty on the plate .... and your coffee cup is always Full ... Sandie & Chef Tony go out of there way to please their customers ... Stop in and give it a try ,,,,, You will be back .... No Doubt about it !!....
Great breakfast lunch and they do dinner on Thursday through Saturday. The people are great owners. workers and the customers. I have never had a bad meal there.
This is a perfect family restaurant in the heart of North Reading.....the Centre Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (Thur-Sat for dinner) all cooked to order....they have a great selection of omeletes & delicious pancakes, with a new addition of a Red Velvet one, that I love.....burgers, BLT's & clam chowder with a side of onion rings are some of my lunch favorites & Chef Tony does some amazing smoked ribs, brisket & pulled port......the owners Sandy & Tony are always welcoming & attentive to customers needs & they go above & beyond when I bring my disabled family member in for meal....
Took my family here for dinner tonight. My kids ate for free due to a promotion they are having. There was anything that we ordered that wasn't delicious. My mother had baked haddock and rice that was devine and my father had a rack of ribs that was so big her couldn't finish it. I highly recommend trying the new dinner/lunch menu. If you like it for breakfast you will love it for dinner
Having gone to the Centre Cafe for years for breakfast and lunch, I was happy to hear dinner was going to be served as well.
I had the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger which was cooked to perfection and the sweet smokey sauce was perfect. I opted for the onion rings which were light and crispy and not greasy at all. My son had the Chicken fingers and fries. The fingers were lightly breaded tenders of juicy goodness. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt and friendly.

What can you say about a restaurant where all the locals know to go to for the best food and conversation? I think that says it all. You can't beat the food and the great selection of pancakes that you won't find elsewhere. Everyone who works there is friendly and ready to take very good care of you. Check it out - I don't think you'll be disappointed!
A dimond in the ruff is the Center Cafe...The best home cooking you can have while eating out...Sandie and Tony make you feel like you are right at home! They have done catering for me and the food was fresh and fab!!! Give it a try and you will be back...
We were visiting from the midwest and this restaurant was recommended to us. OH MY GOD, this was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. The food was cooked exactly as ordered (I am picky about how my bacon and eggs are cooked). The pancakes were to die for. I am looking forward to visiting family again up that way, just to take them out to breakfast. Nice atmosphere, good people and GREAT food!!
I stopped by here to try it out and had the spinach and cheese omelette...best I ever had! Atmosphere was festive...all decorated for the holidays and the owner took time to talk with us. She was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely willl go back!
Had lunch at the Centre Cafe, got a burger w/ the best hand cut fries around!!! Definately looking forward to heading back soon...

My husband had breakfast here a couple weeks ago & could not stop talking about how awesome his food was (the stuffed breakfast sandwich). He loved the fact that everyone knew each other by name. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought. We went today for lunch & Sandie remembered him & his name!! The steak caesar salad was fabulous, Dave loved his juicy Bacon Cheeseburger & I got a bowl of chowder to go & it was like 2 bowls in one! The food is crazy good & the people who work & eat there are so friendly, I hated to leave! It is nice to find a place that makes you feel like you are at home. Thanks!
