My favorite spot in Reading! Quick cheap and delicious!

The best part of the Last Corner would have to be owners Val and Paul and their family. They really care about the community and the lives of their regular customers. My friends and I have been eating there together for close to 20 years and whenever I go alone Val either wants to know what everyone is up to or even tells me what everyone is up to. She has seen so many kids grow up and loves to talk to all the children who eat there.

While this restaurant is most famous for its roastbeef sandwiches i have never had one. My friends tell me i'm crazy but all i crave is a blt with well-done fries and barbecue sauce. The chicken fingers are awesome as well.
For those who take the train in the morning it is a perfect location for a quick bagel sandwich and a cup of coffee.

On any visit during lunch you'll see a great mix of people. Say hello to the local police officers and postmen if you see them there while your eating.

This place kind of weirded me out. The prices were cheap and the people were nice, but there was something really odd about the experience/food. I could have made better at home.

This place is the best! If you have not been there yet, you are missing out A++++

I only discovered this place in my senior year, and it's wonderful! I usually try to eat more on the healthy side, but this is a great once-in-a-while stop where the food is delicious, the prices are great for a student, the service is friendly and personal, and you can have a nice, calm lunch with friends.

Last Corner is First in Reading!

*****

The food is excellent and a friendly family oriented restaurant. The best roast beef and hot pastrami in Reading. Kids get freebies from Valerie (cookies etc.) and can watch the trains come and go through the large windows. Paul puts up the best breakfasts imaginable. His scrambled egg orders are enough for two people. Don't miss out. This
is truly a hidden gem in town. Al B.
