The Board of Health aims to protect and promote the health of the citizens of Reading and improve the quality of the environment. The health division is located at the Town Hall. Larry A. Ramdin is the Health Services administrator. The meeting of the Board takes place in the Berger room.

To whom it may concern:
I wish to report a significant problem that occurred with Keurig Inc. I ordered coffee from this company recently. When I opened the box, a large black spider crawled out of it, went onto my arm, and onto the floor. I had to track the spider down and get rid of it. This was especially an important issue because my office is a medical office.
Clearly, there is a significant problem with the cleanliness of this facility and this poses clear problems to public health. I strongly recommend that they be fully investigated.
I attempted to contact the company but they repeatedly ignored my e-mails. I also called the governor's office and Dept. of Health but they referred the issue to you.
Please forward me all future correspondence with this company and let me know the results of your investigation and redresses the company is willing to make.

Larry Ramdin is no longer employed by Reading. He left when the Health Dept. hours were reduced by 50% to a part time position. Ruth Clay is the new part time admin.
