Sylvester is no Stallone, but is he waiting for you at PAWS.
My name is Sylvester, but my last name is Reed, not Stallone. While I think I have the charisma of a movie star, I would rather be the lead in a romantic comedy, not a bang ‘em up fighter flick like Rambo or Rocky. I have the green eyes of a leading man, so while I admit I look tough, at heart I am a lover, not a fighter. Actually, that is an understatement. I am a four-year-old fuzzy cuddle guy who wants nothing more than to be with you. I honestly can’t tell you how I ended up on the streets of Wakefield, but I know I am so glad to be off of them and in a warm comfortable home with humans. I love humans. On Friday, the Lady Rockets played well but didn't have enough to overcome the Tanners, falling by a 4-1 margin.
Though the Reading High School softball team hung close with visiting Woburn on Friday afternoon, the Rockets didn't have quite enough fire power at the plate to come out with a victory. Woburn took the lead early and held it throughout, going on to a 4-1 victory over the locals. With the setback, Reading is now 11-7 on the year with a 6-4 mark in Middlesex League play. Woburn, meanwhile, improved to 11-8 on the year, one spot behind the Rockets in the standings with a 4-6 league record.
