The North Shore Skating Club has been providing ice skating lessons and training for North Shore residents of all…More ages since 1948. It is currently housed in the Burbank Ice Arena in Reading. It also uses the Hockeytown arena in Saugus. Freestyle skating open times are hosted seven days a week. Club members and non-members are both welcome to sign up for open skate.
The North Shore Skating Club has both senior and junior skating clubs. Both groups are trained and prepared for skate competitions. The Senior Club represents the club in competitions. The club is affiliated with the U.S. Figure Skating Organization. The instructors are experienced and professional figure skaters and they will encourage students to reach full potential. It has an annual awards ceremony recognizing skating members who exemplify certain criteria. All members perform in the annual Ice Spectacular expose.
