This park behind the Little School contains three softball fields, a small playground and a basketball court. BleachersMore and benches line the fields, and a concession stand sits just off the school parking lot. Ipswich River Park

This former farmland was slated for development in the 1990s until the town of North Reading acquired the property byMore eminent domain in 1992. It now boasts two miles of paved walking trails that line the Ipswich River and circle the park, which includes baseball and softball fields, skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, street hockey rink, and soccer fields. A picnic area and gazebo greet visitors as they enter the park, and tables and benches are located along the trails throughout the park. A canoe launch also is available, with parking for boaters on Central Street. All pets must be leashed and all animal waste must be picked up and disposed of in a trash receptacle.
Clarke Park

This park sits on the south shore of the 92-acre Martins Pond, which is at the end of the Skug River and empties intoMore Martins Brook. The Martins Pond Association maintains the park and conducts fund-raising events to help support upkeep. The park contains a beach along the waterfront, a picnic pavilion and grill, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, and a playground. Public boat access is available off Batchelder Avenue. Dogs are permitted in the park if they are leashed, although they are not allowed in the playground, and owners must remove any waste.
