PAWS Pet of the Week

Milo is a Future Olympian

Milo is waiting for you at PAWS.

My name is Milo and I have some growing to do so I can catch up with my long legs and big feet. Being an adolescent boy is a part of my charm. Don’ t you think I am adorable in my orange tiger striped coat? Besides being cute, I am also very friendly and playful.  I love string toys and will jump very high to catch them. I am thinking of a career in basketball or possibly a try for the US men’s gymnastics team in 2016. My event will either be the high jump or box diving. Ok, as you can see from my picture, maybe I will specialize in being stuck in the box when exploring. Is there a gold medal for that event? Despite these antics, I can be very laid back when I am ready to rest. Indeed, I fell asleep on top of my foster mother the other …

PAWS Pet of the Week

PAWS Pet of the Week: Jenny and Tina

Jenny and Tina: Sweet Mother and Daughter Seeking Home Together

Jenny and Tina: Sweet Mother and Daughter Seeking Home Together  My name is Jenny and I’m the kind of girl who stays in on weekends, okay, and weekdays too.  I am not a party animal but more of the mellow, romantic type.  Of course curiosity still has a hold on me and I can be found exploring places that you probably did not know you even had.  Personable, likeable and mostly downright loveable, I am not into drama and the only games I can claim a fondness for are cat games.  I do love to have fun, silliness is welcome, and adventures encouraged. Silliness is something I engage in with my daughter Tina. Did I mention I am a young single mom of a teenager?  Tina may not be a kitten anymore, but, in my eyes, she is an adorable adventurous …

PAWS Pet of the Week

PAWS Pet of the Week: Marisol and Pablo

Marisol is a young mom eager to strike out on her own with or without her kitten Pablo.

As you can see from my picture, motherhood suits me just fine. But honestly, I think I am ready to get on with my own life. After all, I was a young mom. At barely one-year-old, I think I deserve some me time.     In addition to my elegant whiskers and beautiful dilute tortie coat, I have purrsonality! I love exploring and really enjoy having my head scratched. I am looking forward to joining you on the sofa or at your desk and snuggling with you, the way my kitten curls up with me. Speaking of my kitten, Pablo, I think he is adorable with his grey and white markings and nose splotches. He is all kitten: rumbly and tumbly, soft and fuzzy.   I am as proud as any mother could be when he races up and down the kitty tower with the other kids. …

PAWS Pet of the Week

PAWS Pet of the Week: Noelle

Home needed: petite seal point Noelle wants to fill your world.

Sweet and petite, bright and curious, I am Noelle: a seal point Siamese beauty with an amazing, sleek, slinky body and killer blue eyes.  Despite the fact that I am “middle-aged,” I love to play with string toys and enjoy cozy hiding places.  Yet, I will come running to greet you when you come home.   True to my Siamese heritage, I am also an excellent conversationalist.  But, as much as I love to talk, I can also be a good listener.  If you want to lie down with me and cuddle, I will shine my baby blues on you and purr up a storm.  Purring is definitely one of my specialties. Although I am able to share my space with other felines (no dogs please), my dream would be a quiet home where I can be the focus of lots of patient attention.  Well…
