VIDEO: Holiday Sounds Fill the Air at North Reading High School Concert
Highlights from an exciting night of holiday cheer and young talent.
Holiday music, traditional and unique, filled the high school's auditorium Tuesday evening as the music department presented its annual Holiday Concert. Friends and family packed the room to hear the various talents the department has to offer. Students from the piano classes warmed the audience up with a variety of holiday favorites as a prelude to the show. Noteoreous, the school's a cappella group, performed "In Bleak Midwinter" to a rousing round of applause. The jazz band gave excellent renditions of classics including "Christmas Time is Here," "The Christmas Song" and "Feliz Navidad." The chorus showcased its vocal range with "Run to the Manger," variations on "Deck the Halls," "Hanerot Halalu (Light the Candles)," "Fill-A Me Up!" …
