Kim Penney Hoping to Go Out On Top With Lady Rockets

The Reading High School girls basketball head coach has her team in the North Division 2 semifinal round during her final season on the sidelines.

After 15 years on the sidelines for the Reading High School girls basketball team, head coach Kim Penney is stepping aside following the current postseason. And Penney is hoping to go out on top. Penney will take a break from coaching to tend to her family and business, but first she hopes to cap off a second straight undefeated season with a state championship. Mark Doherty's Rockets Stack Up With State's Best

The Reading High School boys hockey team is in the Super 8 thanks to the leadership of the coach who has been involved with the program since 1984.

Reading High School boys hockey head coach Mark Doherty has seen his team play some of the top team teams in the state and he's seen one thing. The Rockets stack up with all of them. The fourth year mentor has been an assistant with the Rockets since 1984 when he graduated from the University of New Hampshire. He took over after his father retired as head coach in 2009. Rockets Seizing Golden Opportunity Under Head Coach

Reading girls hockey head coach Michael Golden has the team in position for a deep postseason run.

Reading girls hockey head coach Michael Golden knew when he took over behind the bench four years ago that he had one job. Don't mess up. The Rockets mentor joked that with the strong crop of players that joined the team when he started, his job is an easy one.
