Residents Report Harassing Phone Calls
This is an excerpt from the North Reading police log for April 4-5.
The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public. Monday At 10:17 a.m., police stopped a Ford Explorer registered to a New Hampshire owner for having an unregistered trailer carrying diesel fuel. The trailer was towed from the scene for safety issues, and the owner was cited. At 3:19 p.m., police responded to an Edgewood Apartments address to investigate a breaking and entering report. A caller told police that the apartment was entered sometime in the past three hours. At 6:30 p.m., a resident reported receiving a harassing phone call.
