Leah's Salon Now Open on Haven Street
Reading Resident Leah Lam opened the salon on Haven Street.
Resident and hair stylist Leah Lam opened the new salon Leah’s at 77 Haven Street. The salon is only 500 square feet and Lam is the only stylist right now. "The salon I opened is a very small salon and it's a concept that I hope catches on," Lam said. The "small, inviting" salon provides more of a personal experience for women getting a hair cut or treatment. "It's a place to not be forgotten," Lam explained. She has three chairs in the salon and is open to hiring another stylist in the future. For now, she is the only stylist and has been cutting hair for more than 20 years.
