Stop by the Hornet's Nest for Mrs. Felix's cupcakes after September 5.
Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes announced that they will be selling cupcakes at the Hornet's Nest starting on Sept. 5. The cupcakes are now sold online and at Heav'nly Donuts. Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes will be on the menu as a dessert or snack. Owner of Mrs. Felix's cupcakes Lindsay Felix is pleased about the new development. "Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes is so excited for another great relationship with a legendary establishment in North Reading," she said. Hornet's Nest owner Laura Salvo is also thrilled about the new addition. "We are very excited about carrying Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes here at the Nest! Customers can buy Mrs. Felix's cupcakes at Heav'nly Donuts starting Aug. 25.
Starting Saturday Aug. 25, Heav'nly Donuts in North Reading will offer Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes. Stop by Heav’nly Donuts on Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon for the launch featuring free face painting, coupons, raffles for a free dozen of Mrs. Felix’s Cupcakes, a coloring station and, of course, cupcakes. According to a recent press release from Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes, they have the same business ethics as Heav'nly Donuts and are thrilled to be establishing a retail relationship with the donut shop. Lindsay Felix grew up in North Reading and still lives in town with her husband and three children. For the last 10 years, she has been making cupcakes from scratch for the community free of charge. After an overwhelming amount of orders, Felix decided to start her own cupcake business online this past May and now is ready to open a store. Mrs. Felix’s Cupcakes will open in town this summer. Felix is still unsure of the date, but hopes it will happen by the end of July. All of her cupcakes, that she refers to as "simple and delicious," are homemade from scratch without preservatives or any traces of peanuts.
