New Consignment Shop Opens on Route 28
A new consignment shop has opened along Route 28 near the Andover border in North Reading.
Second Chance Consignment Store owner Nancy Boyer enjoys going into each day wondering what's going to come through the door. Focused on clothing and various knick-knacks, Second Chance Consignment opened at 325 Main St. in North Reading at the end of November. "Each day is different...and I like that," said Boyer. "I like to give things a second chance." Boyer owned a consignment shop earlier in life but closed it roughly ten years ago to focus on her family. But she recently decided it was time to return to her passion. "I love the interaction with people; I like talking to people and getting to know people," said Boyer.
