Hornet Swimmers Look to Dive Into 2010-11 Cape Ann League Season

North Reading High School's all-star quartet will be joined by a cadre of untested swimmers as the squad is set to begin its season.

North Reading swimming head coach Christine Yates was pleased with the results from the 2009-2010 season, and is looking to repeat that success with her co-ed squad as they gear up for a difficult season ahead in the 2010-2011 Cape Ann League swimming calendar. Junior Talia Coreniti will have to pick up the slack on the girls' side as her fellow Cape Ann League all-star Jessie Valenti will not be returning, preferring instead to focus on a year-round soccer schedule. On the boys' side, the spotlight this year will be on team captain Ryan Bachur, senior Chris Cullity and junior Tyler Staniech. The Hornets return four of their five Cape Ann League all-stars from last year, losing only Valenti. Their remaining stars, Talia Coreniti (jr.), …
