The Pioneers quickly rebounded in the top of the seventh, but then controversy erupted …

Two teams go for spots in sectional finals.

The Hornets, which have been a team for less than a decade, will take on the top-seed and perennial power Dover-Sherborn tonight at 7 p.m. in Dover. A Hornet win would mean a berth in the Division 3 East title game Tuesday afternoon at Harvard Stadium. Led by their two super juniors, Cody Carbone and Eric Valenti, the chances seem high for the Hornets to spring the upset and earn the right to play on the biggest stage. For most schools, it would be enough to have one team represented in the sectional semifinals, but the Hornets are lucky enough to have two.
