Friday, December 21 3:38 a.m.: At Ipswich River Park on Central Street, an officer reported finding a dedicated park bench vandalized. The bench was tipped over inside of the park area located near the small circle closest to the river. 10:53 a.m.: The fire alarm at the high school was reported as going off by the Fire Department. Arrests At 11:53 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a suspicious male and female on Lakeside Boulevard. The caller said that the pair approached her house and said that they were homeless vets and needed a ride to Lawrence. Another caller said that the pair approached and asked to use her phone. As a result of the call, the female was transported to the Andover line, but the male, Sean E. Burke, 28, of 6 Homestead Terrace was arrested on a warrant.
