Gypsy is a real angel.
Wait, why are you walking by my window? I want to look at you. You seem nice. I know I am nice. Don’t you think we would make a great pair? I do. Why not come inside and meet me? I am definitely looking for a new home. This cage at PetSmart is clean and safe, but that is about all I can say for it. I am ready for a home of my own and you sure look like a good adopter. You have a dog, you say? No problem on my part. Another cat? Well, that depends. We can discuss it. So my name is Gypsy Angel and I am a petite, medium haired, girl with a beautiful black coat and a fleck of white on my chest. Very elegant, if I do say so myself. Especially my fluffy tail, which I use to signal my pleasure. Tails are great, aren’t they? Oh, …

Brenda has twinkly toes and a sparkly, sweet personality. She is waiting for you at PAWS.
I am sleek, sweet, and looking for my forever home. My name is Brenda and I am almost all black except for two white toes and a few white hairs at my chest and neck. I think I am stunning. My foster thinks I am sweet as can be. I believe we are both right! Besides having two twinkly white toes, I also have a personality that is just as sparkly. I am very playful and love to snuggle. I came to PAWS with three young kittens and I used to run around and play with them. Now that they are gone, I will play with any other cat who is interested in having a romp. I get along with just about every cat I have met. So, I would be a perfect addition to your home if you are looking to add another feline. No worries about me getting anyone’s …

Lilo Bunny is waiting for you at PAWS.
Sniff, sniff, sniff…..hello nice person. My name is Lilo and I am a one-year-old mini lop eared bunny who really likes people. And people seem to like me, too. I guess it is because I am quite cute with my hanging ears, beautiful harlequin markings, and sweet, twitchy, bunny nose. Rabbits just don’t get much cuter than I am, if I do say so myself. You might think I am a bit biased. But really, I am just a very happy and social boy who enjoys life and dreams of a wonderful home. So, you are asking yourself: Why do I need a bunny in my life? Well, I am just a bundle of pure joy. My favorite thing to do is to stick my nose out of my cage and ask to be patted. Whenever anyone is around, this is what I do. I also like to play. There …

Mitzi Horn Is waiting for you at PAWS.
Sniff, sniff… you smell good. Can I come home with you? I really want a home and even from here I can tell we are a match. My name is Mitzie Horn. I am a one-year-old black and white puppy. I can’t give you a pedigree since I am a combination of things as you can see. But I think I really turned out to be quite sleek, elegant and special… a one of kind. I am a very happy and friendly girl. I have met one other dog here about my own size and I love to play and wrestle with her. I also love to chase balls and play with stuffed toys. I have a special toy I keep in my cage when I can’t be outside playing. Outside is where I love to be. I can run there and I do laps around the fenced in yard at the VCA Wakefield, where I am currently…

Shadow is waiting for you at Paws.
Chocolates are nice on Valentine’s Day, but we think Shadow the German shepherd mix says I love you even better. She is 10 years young, with a special personality that caught everyone’s attention right from the start. When Shadow arrived, she had some serious dental needs (and was most likely in pain). But her friendly nature and desire to be friends with everyone she met made it clear to all involved that this girl deserved a chance at a life with a new family. With the generous financial help from Poundhounds.org, Shadow received expert and loving care at the VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital. She is now ready to find a home in which to enjoy her golden years. We emphasize “enjoy” here, because Shadow has a real zest for life. She adores …

This nurturing PAWS pet of the week seeks a special companion.
Tigre is a very special cat with an extraordinarily loving heart and spirit. While she has already faced adversity in her young life, this beautiful tiger mom remains optimistic and happy – truly a warm and engaging companion cat. She also has some nurturing left over from when she cared for her babies. Watch out; she may even be the one taking care of you. Tigre’s babies have all been adopted, so now it is her time to find her own home. Playfulness is second nature to Tigre, who also adores her treats, so much so that she even tried to scoop a few extra while at an adoption day. You will not just fall in love with her obvious beauty and stunning green eyes, but also with her winning personality. Like most cats, Tigre has a range of …
