We received dozens of entries to our Pet Halloween Costume Contest and narrowed it down to 10 finalists. The voting round closed on Friday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. and was extremely close, but one entry came out on top: prisoner Max and prison guard Maisie from Tewksbury, who received 15 votes. Coming in a very close second was Barry the Pirate, who received 14 votes. Max and Maisie's owner will receive a $50 gift card plus bragging rights. We asked, you answered and we received dozens of entries to our Pet Halloween Costume Contest. That left us with a tall task, having to choose the finalists so you can vote for your favorite! Our editors spent hours going through all the entries and selected their 10 favorites. Voting opens today, so scroll through our photos, pick your choice to win and tell us which in the comments section by indicating the picture number and the pet’s name. One vote per person please. Voting will end at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2. The winner will be announced on Nov. 5, and we’ve added a little incentive. The winning submission will receive a $50 gift card plus bragging rights.
