Veterans Director Susan Magner is planning a 9/11 remembrance event.
North Reading’s Director of Veterans Services Susan Magner is diligently planning a 9/11 event to ensure that residents never forget September 11, 2001. The 10th anniversary event will boast guest speakers, a presentation of colors by the Marine Corps and live music. In the photo above, Magner is holding the design for dog tags that will be sold at the event. The tags will read, North Reading, Tenth Anniversary, 9/11, Never Forget. Magner said, “The anger, sadness, and fear of that day will never be forgotten. The tragedy and loss of innocent people will remain etched in our thoughts forever.
