Should Teachers, Child Care Workers Submit Fingerprints for Background Checks?

Gov. Deval Patrick signed legislation that would require teachers, workers at child care centers and school bus drivers to submit fingerprints for criminal background checks.

The Associated Press recently reported Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick is considering signing legislation that would require teachers, workers at child care centers and school bus drivers to submit fingerprints for criminal background checks. Woman Reveals Details of Alleged Sex Abuse [VIDEO]

A Burlington woman alleges she was sexually assaulted by a family member, as well as being forced to have sex with other men at the former Maverick nightclub in North Reading.

A Burlington woman is claiming her uncle, a Waltham businessman, sexually assaulted her many times between 1968 and 1977, according to a lawsuit filed in Middlesex Superior Court. She also said she was she was forced to have sex with other men at the former Maverick nightclub, which was at the intersection of Main and Park streets in North Reading -- the current day location of the Cota Funeral Home and Dunkin' Donuts. Rosanne Sliney, 48, claims her uncle, Domenic Previte Jr., of Waltham, sexually assaulted and raped her hundreds of times starting when she was 5. Hooray for Roseanne! I am 65 years old and was drugged and raped by my father when I was a teenager. My mother was brutally raped by her adoptive father. We need to teach our children that they will be protected when they come forward with the truth.
