Sights of Reading Calendar Supports the Community!

The recipient of the beautiful “Sights of Reading” calendar will be thinking of you all year long as they view the photos from around Reading.  Hollingsworth Field, Old South Church, Town Forest, Reading Post Office, and Meadowbrook are a few of the locations showcased in the 11” x 17” hanging calendar.  Each month features an 8.5” x 11" photograph. The proceeds raised from the calendar sales will benefit Gold Award community service projects.  The Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious award any Girl Scout can earn.  The projects involve many hours of work and are meant to make a mark on the community that creates a lasting impact on lives of others. Buy Local, Enjoy Local Sights All Year Long

"Sights of Reading" Calendar is on sale now.

The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to buy local and reinvest back into the community through job creation, taxes and charitable donations.   Reading Girl Scout Troop 73712 asks you to buy local by visiting The Hitching Post on Haven Street or Gregory’s on Main Street to purchase a “Sights of Reading” calendar.  The Girl Scouts will be in front of The Hitching Post during  the Tree Lighting Festival on Sunday November 25 selling the calendars from noon to 5 p.m.         Local Girl Scouts have taken photographs of local Reading sights; had the calendar printed at a local business, The Graphics Shop; are distributing the calendar at local businesses; are sponsored by local businesses, Sanborn Place Home Care and…

“Sights of Reading” All Year Long

RMHS scouts produced a "Sights of Reading" calendar.

Enjoy beautiful photos of Reading hanging on your wall for all of 2013!  Reading High School Scouts have produced the 2013 “Sights of Reading” calendar which hangs 11” X 17” with each month displaying an 8 ½” X 11” photo of a sight in Reading.  The calendar was produced for 2010 and 2012 and sold out both years.  "We love producing calendars that everyone can enjoy and are thrilled to have them again this year!" Kasey said.  Calendars will be debuted at the Reading Fall Street Faire on September 9 from 12-5 p.m.  The “Sights of Reading” booth will be located on Haven Street in front of the Reading Co-operative Bank, the booth sponsor.  The calendar sells for $12 or buy one for a friend and the price is 2/$20.  If you cannot visit the booth…
