North Reading Tedeschi Robbed Again at Knifepoint
According to police, the same suspect involved in a November robbery may have been the man who held up the store early Sunday morning.
State and local police searched the area around Tedeschi's Food Store after an overnight robbery that officers believe may be linked to a previous incident at the store. North Reading police received a call that the store had been held up at knifepoint at about 12:15 a.m. on Sunday. The involved party fled on foot and was believed to have left the area in a green colored sedan, possibly a Honda, before cruisers arrived. According to public safety transmissions, the suspect displayed a knife with a green handle before he left toward the rear of the store.
