Monday, Feb. 27 Public Hearing. The Community Planning and Development Commission meets Monday night in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall. Among the items on the agenda is a public hearing with regards to the limited site plan review for 32 Lowell St., and a continuation of the public hearing on a subdivision at 97-101 Forest St. Office Hours. State Rep. Jim Dwyer (D-Woburn), representing the 30th Middlesex Congressional District, which includes Reading, will hold office hours at the Reading Public Library on Feb. 27 between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Those who cannot make office hours, but would like to discuss an issue or concern are encouraged to call Rep. Meet and Greet. Celebrate President’s Day by coming out to Sam’s Bistro for a meet and greet with Board of Selectmen candidate John Arena. All residents are invited to swing by between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and meet the candidate. Animals. Beat the humdrum winter routine and come out to Stone Zoo during February school vacation week. Due to ducks swimming in the Castine Outdoor Ice Rink ( meaning there is no ice as a result of the unseasonably warm weather),The Reading Winter Classic has been postponed until February 17-19.
