Mrs. Felix’s Cupcakes at Hornet's Nest in North Reading

Stop by the Hornet's Nest for Mrs. Felix's cupcakes after September 5.

Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes announced that they will be selling cupcakes at the Hornet's Nest starting on Sept. 5. The cupcakes are now sold online and at Heav'nly Donuts. Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes will be on the menu as a dessert or snack. Owner of Mrs. Felix's cupcakes Lindsay Felix is pleased about the new development. "Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes is so excited for another great relationship with a legendary establishment in North Reading," she said. Hornet's Nest owner Laura Salvo is also thrilled about the new addition. "We are very excited about carrying Mrs. Felix's Cupcakes here at the Nest! We think it will be a great addition to the menu," Salvo said. "We think customers will appreciate being able to get a little something sweet for dessert …

Is Fast Food Part of Your Child's Diet?

Do you let your children eat fast food? If so, where do you get it North Reading?

Each week in Moms Talk, our Moms Council of local parents takes your questions, gives advice and shares solutions. Today, the council answers the question: Is fast food part of your child's diet? Kat Lynch We do allow Miles to eat fast food, albeit sparingly. Once or twice a month, he can get a Happy Meal from McDonalds; we usually go to the one in North Reading.  In general, we aim for a 90% good-choice, 10% fun food balance. So long as he's eating balanced meals and snacks on a regular basis, I am fine with making room for treats now and then. When Miles chooses, "fun food" more often means a piece of taffy from Ryer's or ice cream at Richardson's than it does fast food, but he does like the occasional Happy Meal. Lindsay Felix We have …
