Reading Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge Kids Do Well at States
A young group of Reading soccer players gave a good account of themselves at the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge State Competition, all placing in second or third place.
The Reading Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge local winners made it to the regionals in Georgetown, and, ultimately, to the state competition in Abington, held in October and November. At states, all Reading participants placed either second or third in their age groups. The competition involves taking 25 penalty kicks with the intention of landing the ball into scoring zones in the net.
