The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department on Tuesday. The information is open to the public. Tuesday At 12:38 a.m., a caller reported his doorbell being rung throughout the night, but no one was around. Police checked the house and did not find anything. At 5:48 a.m., police conducted a welfare check at a Peabody Court residence. At 7:46 a.m., a caller requested police check the area of Bow Street due to speeding cars using the road to avoid traffic on Route 62. Police monitored the area and reported traffic was light and traveling at the speed limit. At 10:18 a.m., a caller reported mailboxes at some Main Street businesses were damaged overnight.
