Hi, I am Vanna. Like that other Vanna of game show fame, I am lithe and elegant. Unlike her, I don’t have an endless variety of lovely gowns. But, as you will discover, I’m no less stunning in my own original, satiny grey tortie ensemble. Yes, I am a definite show stopper. Besides being beautiful, I am affectionate, calm and mellow. You can pick me up and carry me around and I won’t complain. I also love when you pet or brush me. Or, I could find a great spot near you to sit in the sun and doze. I am easy to please. Penguin is waiting for you at PAWS.
Hello, my name is Penguin and I'm a lively, six-month-old kitten. My markings may remind my foster of a real penguin, but I much prefer a warm, snuggly place with you to an ice floe in Antarctica or a beach in the Galapagos. Actually, I was brought in from the cold outdoors when I was only 12 weeks old, so I do have outdoor experience and I can tell you now that I'm done with that. Life indoors on the warm and cozy side of the window pane is the life for me. Here on the inside, I find that toys are the most fun. I can’t resist anything on a string, any catnip mouse, and that red dot that always seems to get away. And, I am finding people more and more interesting. Everyone loves me. I can tell that because they all say how cute and sweet I am. Some call me a doll, which frankly, is not so appropriate since I am a dog and a boy one at that. But they are right about me being special. Who wouldn’t love me? I am small in stature (the size of a very large cat) and big in heart. I just love meeting everyone because I adore people. I am always ready to play, to follow you around, to be your friend and to do doggie things with you. Did I say that I love people? I do. If I look sad in my photo, it is because I really want to have a home of my own again. I am a young and healthy guy who loves people. I loved my former people right up until they brought home a Great Dane puppy. Yeah, puppies are cute. But do you know how big that cute thing got? I can’t even describe it. I’m sure he was a good guy, but I was way too intimidated to find out. Having to deal with my fear of the dog made my life quite stressful and so we all decided it would be best if I found a new home. Enough of the sad stuff because I am not letting that define my life. My name is Winter, but I am not the least bit like that season. I am all spring, sweet, happy and loving, the kind of kitty who will sit on your lap and purr and purr. The kind of girl who likes to be scratched, rubbed, and petted in all those good cat spots (ears, chin, neck, etc.).
