About Erin
A Reading native. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UMASS Lowell, I worked as a technical recruiter before finding my passion in business development. In 2001 I took a leave from working outside the house, but after feeling restless my husband Carlo and I purchased The Chocolate Truffle thinking it would be a “fun seasonal business.” In 2006 we launched Bacci Chocolate Design as the manufacturing division of The Chocolate Truffle and reseller to other specialty stores.
In between working on growing my business brand, I work for other companies helping them build their brands. I am the proud mother of three girls; Abigail, Sarah and Sofia who can often be seen driving in the "chocolate van."
Erin is an advocate for small business and economic development, a member of the Reading North Reading Chamber of Commerce and the Buy Local Task Force, a volunteer for the civic group Making Reading Better and a Town Meeting Member.
"It isn't difficult to open a business, but how do you stay in business? I'd like to see more locally owned businesses thrive in this economy and feel fortunate to be part of a community with other like minded people."

Hi,
I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.
If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Here is the link for the film:
