Our Mission

The Hope and Friendship Metastatic Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 volunteer organization enhancing the lives of women and men with a diagnosis of Metastatic (Stage IV) Breast Cancer by offering support groups, resources for learning and networking, therapeutic activities, scholarships and creative retreats. We also support research focused on Metastatic Breast Cancer treatments. The foundation was started by Heather LoRe, of North Reading, MA and has been offering the only Metastatic (Stage IV) Breast Cancer Support Group north of Boston for 4 years.
