I don't know how you manage to hold yourself composed and reasonable under the onslaught of the comments of some of these Patch idiots. As for Mr. Collins, its apparent he has deified himself as the "the good son", and demonized his brother. It must be hurtful for his parents to know his low regard of them. His assertion that his own parents were deficient or at fault, makes no sense whatsoever, as they also raised him, did they not?

Young adults, especially male, can be very stupid, can't they? As parents, we do everything we can not to lose them to their own idiocies and usually with time, the kids settle down by their mid-20s. However, I believe Joe was not 'lost' to his family, but stolen from you.
