What’s my story? I grew up in California. As a three year old I spoke some Tagalog (my parents took four children to live in the Philippines while they served in the Peace Corps). I attended Our Lady of Corvallis High School
in Studio City. I studied English Literature at California State University Northridge. I completed my Master’s degree in Public Health at Boston University. I love
working in health care and wellness. I enjoy helping patients understand everything from paperwork to lab work to chronic disease prevention. Professionally, I have worked as a Medical Secretary in a Perinatal Unit; a Patient Advocate at a psychiatric hospital; a Research Coordinator at Boston University Medical Center, and I currently work as a Program Coordinator for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. I got married, we have a beautiful child, we travel, we work, I am happy. I am tired. That’s my story.

My favorite things include quiet mornings, strong coffee, honesty, integrity, laughter, Thai cuisine, unique novels and foreign films with subtitles, swimming in the ocean, libraries, frozen mango, and spending time with my husband and son either at home or traveling to places we get to bust out the passports! I also love my husband’s grilling and homemade popcorn. I like communicating and problem solving and mediating and listening. I like hearing what other people are thinking and what they have to say (really).
