North Reading Hornets are the State Champions.
North Reading defeated Mount Everett 8-4 Saturday afternoon, thanks to a six-run rally in the second where the Hornets got runs from Eric Gordon, Kyle Boucher, Keith Linnane, Dennis Rollfs and Tom Day, and Ryley Warnock.
Warnock also came in to pitch 5 1/3 innings of relief as well as allowing only two hits and giving up no earned runs.
