Five Things to Know Today: Jan. 31

Today is Thursday, Jan. 31. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. Expect partly sunny skies today with a high near 48, tonight a low around 23. 

2. Super Bowl Party. Attend a Super Bowl party at the Reading Senior Center at noon. The party will feature pizza, games and prizes. Registration is required.

3. Stump Trivia. Stop by the Great American Tavern for dinner and a game of trivia at 8 p.m.

4. Mission of Deeds Buy-A-Bed campaign. Help the Mission of Deeds by donating to their Buy-A-Bed campaign. With each $90 raised they can buy a new bed set for a person in need. Donate at local businesses in Reading and North Reading. 

5. Job search presentation. Baby Boomers are invited to the Flint Memorial Library at 7 p.m. for a presentation on staying focused and motivated during a job search. The speakers will be Stephen Buell, Kevin Walsh and Tom Procopio.
