2. . Due to strong winds from Hurricane Sandy, a tree crashed into a home on Williams Road in North Reading around 7:15 p.m. Monday. 

3. Killam Parents Talk with Superintendent about Middle School Redistricting Proposal. A group of about 60 Killam Elementary School parents met with Superintendent John Doherty Tuesday night to discuss a proposed change to the district line for the Parker and Coolidge Middle Schools, which would send more students from Killam to Parker.

5. PHOTOS: NRHS Masquers Perform Lettice and Lovage This Weekend. The North Reading High School Masquers will perform Lettice and Lovage this Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. According to Masquers Director Alison Kane, "Lettice and Lovage is a comedy written by Peter Shaffer (who wrote Eqquis and Amadeaus) about a flamboyant tour guide (Senior Sarah Lilley) who loves to embellish the history behind an English country house butts heads with a fact-conscious official at the house (Senior Janelle Yull)."
