A Stroll to Remember: The David K. Johnson (DKJ) Foundation is hosting its 1st annual 5k "A Stroll to Remember" along Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts on Sunday, October 21, 2012 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  This DKJ Foundation event "A Stroll to Remember" raises money and awareness for Sanborn Adult Day Services located on Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield.

NRHS Athletic Boosters Cereal Fundraiser: The North Reading High School Athletic Boosters announces the sale of their cereal boxes for $5 each. ALL proceeds benefit all of the athletic teams by way of equipment or uniform funding, hardship awards, sports award nights, etc... not covered by the athletic fees. These boxes are on sale at NRHS, Ryers, Sunrise Bagels, and at the Town Hall Parks and Recreation Department. Reading Health Division Flu Clinics: The Reading Health Division will be providing seasonal flu vaccinations for adults 18 years and older. We ask that you bring your insurance cards so that we may be reimbursed for the vaccinations.

Clinics will be held:

  • Monday October 22, 2012: Reading Town Hall Conference Room (first floor) from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday October 27, 2012: Coolidge Middle School Cafeteria from 9 to 11 a.m.
