Car Hits Tree in North Reading, Driver Transported to Hospital

Around 8 p.m. last night, a car hit a tree on Turner Drive in North Reading. The driver was cited for speeding and transported to the hospital, according to North Reading Police.

The 17-year-old Salisbury male failed to negotiate the turn, police said, and hit a tree. The male was cited for speeding and transported to the hospital by the North Reading Fire Department. His injuries were minor.
