Cash Reported Stolen, Car Window Broken and More From Reading Police

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Friday through Monday. The information is open to the public.

Friday, Nov. 30

  • At 11:18 a.m., a caller reported that cash was stolen from his wallet after he accidentally left it in the bathroom at Market Basket.
  • At 3:06 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Willow Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 3:54 p.m., a caller reported that youths broke the window of her car on Haven Street. An officer notified the parents of the youths.
  • At 8:06 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Haven Street. The injuries were unknown.

Saturday, Dec. 1

  • At 11:58 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.

Sunday, Dec. 2

  • At 12:42 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Walkers Brook Drive. No injuries were reported.
  • At 5:17 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Walkers Brook Drive. No injuries were reported.
  • At 10:53 p.m., a Prescott Street resident reported a house party. Police spoke to the resident who agreed to quiet down for the night.

Monday, Dec. 3

  • At 10:52 a.m., a Pine Ridge Road resident reported that her car may have been entered because the molding on the passenger side door was slightly off.
