Resident Arrested on Drug Possession Charges

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the Reading Police Department from Friday through Monday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

On Sunday, Frank Charles Pearson, 54, of 98 Cook St. Lynn was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a class B substance, operating a motor vehicle with unsecured load, seat belt violation and failure to restrain child over five.

On Monday, as the result of a motor vehicle accident, Craig J. Marino, 38, of 22 Harvard Street was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation and operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger.

Friday, June 28

  • At 7:49 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 1:13 p.m., a caller reported finding two syringes on Pond Meadow Drive.

Saturday, June 29

  • At 10:36 a.m., a resident walked into the police station to report that the sticker was stolen off her car.

Sunday, June 30

  • At 3:13 a.m., a Main Street resident reported a house party.
  • At 2:26 p.m., a Chesquesette Road resident reported that her car was broken into and a gift was taken.

Monday, July 1

  • At 1:17 a.m., a Sunnyside Avenue resident reported a loud house party.
  • At 5:52 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 10:09 p.m., a caller reported tagging of the camp sign at Camp Moody.
  • At 11:40 p.m., a caller reported a possible underage drinking party on County Road.
